This month’s art theme is sculpture. We will use our hands to make amazing 3D art. Today in the Aquarius class, we made a frog and flower sculpture!
We started by carefully placing flowers petals around a paper circle.
Then we used our fingers to curl the petals and put tissue paper in the middle.
Next, we designed our handprint frogs by drawing original eyes and a smile.
All of the frogs were so original and cute!
For the last step, we glued our beautiful flowers and frogs onto a paper plate Lilly pad.
They all turned out so cute and original! We are excited to make more sculptures to decorate our classroom throughout the month. Great job everyone!
