This month for science we are learning about feelings. Todays feeling was “nervousness”. We discussed what it happens to your body when you feel nervous.
We talked about some of the situations that make us nervous. “I feel nervous when I meet new friends”. “I feel nervous when I have to take a quiz”. This is a feeling everybody can relate too. We learned some methods people use around the world to stop their nervousness.
Let’s put the methods to the test by picking out challenges from a box and performing them for our classmates. The tasks were funny but also nerve racking…
Some of us had to read a book loudly, some had to do a dance of make funny faces in front of everybody!
In the end we all agreed that having our friends watching help us to not feel nervous. Their laughter and encouragement are the best cure for being nervous!
