PAP恵比寿校 Head Teacher
My name is Stephen, but it’s pronounced with a “v” so please call me Steven. I’m from Australia and I am the head teacher at Prime Academic Preschool. I was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, and while growing up, I spent a lot of time at the beach with my family. We always had pet dogs, so I love animals and I love getting out and about and exploring new places around town with my family and friends.
I first visited Japan for holidays in 1997 and over the next few years I made lots of Japanese friends in Australia. I learned more about Japan and the culture through my friends, and I finally moved to Japan in 2006. I have been living and working in Tokyo ever since, and I now call Japan home.
For more than 11 years now, I have been teaching at both public and private schools in Tokyo. I really love working with children and find it really satisfying helping children with their academic and personal developments.
I can’t wait to see you at PAP!
PAP上北沢校 Head Teacher
Hi, my name is Daniel and I am the Head Teacher at PAP. I am originally from Auckland, New Zealand, but I have been living in Japan since 2006. I like movies, television, and all kinds of music.
Since moving to Japan, I have taught students of all ages. I became interested in teaching preschools after my daughter entered kindergarten. Since then I have been a full time, dedicated preschool teacher and enjoyed some of the best years of my career. I have taught many wonderful students over the past few years and look forward to making even more friends at PAP
I’m Oliver. I am from Miami, Florida in the United States but my family is originally from Cuba and Nicaragua. I grew up speaking both English and Spanish but did all my studies in English. I earned a degree in Art and Art History.
Growing up in Miami meant a lot of time at the beach and swimming pools during our endless summers. My father used to work for a large international Japanese company and would often take trips to Tokyo. It was my first real introduction to Japanese culture.
I have spent some time living Gunma and now I do a lot of hiking, reading about Japanese culture and history and watching movies.
I have been teaching for 11 years at public schools in America and private schools in Japan. I have a lot of fun working with children and bringing my won experiences learning English at a young age to my teaching style. I believe that fun and play are the best ways to learn, so let’s do our best and have a great time at PAP!
