The students had their violin and Pianica lessons today. For their violin class, they learned a simple song, focusing on technique by placing their fingers on the correct areas of the frets, while moving the bow in the right direction.
In our Pianica class, the students learned a new song called The Cricket Sound. The class learned about time signatures and eighth note rhythms. We usually count in the music in 4/4 time but for the music we are learning, we had to learn to count in 2/4 time.
The students showed good concentration and determination to play their very best in music class. Everyone had fun learning the songs and techniques.
I’m proud of their progress and look forward to their musical progression every week.
