Hello everyone! This month’s art theme is based on shapes. We started a two week project, making a Basquiat style painting.
The students took care of drawing out the shape patterns at first, while writing a word that shows what they can do well in the middle of the shape.
The students then drew a character and crown, and traced over the drawing in the style of Basquiat with permanent markers. Then they drew different shape patterns around the paper.
Everyone was very concentrated on doing their best for their art project. We look forward to their next phase in the art project next week.
